Its owner, Patrick van Kerckhoven, began his career as a producer and DJ of electronic dance Music with the release of his first record in 1986. By 1990 he had scored his first hit-single in 1990. Over the course of time he succesfully raised several other artists to stardom on his labels as well.Due to a bankruptcy of his record label's parent company, Patrick never saw any of the money his hits should have made him. With a strong desire to be in control of every aspect of his musical life and career he decided to start his own company: Cardiac Productions. Over the years Cardiac has evolved into an independent and trend-setting music company, encompassing the production of music, a multitude of record labels, an online internet store and a booking agency. Cardiac Music is represents around 40 producers and DJs from all parts of the world.
