Livzi is a self-taught 18-year-old singer/songwriter from London whose original songs for piano and guitar have for some time now been receiving airplay on independent radio stations both in the UK and around the world. She is now also being played by BBC Introducing. Her voice has been described in the indie music press as “having… a distinctive tone, which would be almost instantly recognisable on the airwaves… the kind of voice that mainstream radio stations love to play…” Livzi was first asked to sing at the Kidney Research London Bridges walk at the age of 13 after a representative heard her cover of Valerie, by Amy Winehouse. At 15, Livzi began to write original songs for piano and to teach herself the guitar using the challenges of life as a teenager to inspire much of her work. In the past few years she has written around 20 original songs for piano and guitar. Having finished her A levels this year, Livzi is now studying for a degree in Contemporary Music.
