The OCPRS is a non-profit organization and does not accept donations or payment. The OCPRS was founded by two individuals -- Marcio and Demetrius -- in Toronto, Canada, April 2010. Both Marcio and Demetrius decided to establish an organization to research the paranormal and to help people troubled by what is believed to be paranormal phenomenon. The reason for founding such a group was due to the wide-spread misinformation concerning the spiritual world that is promoted through TV shows about ghost hunting and other paranormal themed books and movies.
