I AM SHELLEY CARROL, I'LL BE HERE ALL WEEK!...THANK YOU...AND GOODNIGHT... I LOVE LIFE...and the music that I play is icing on the cake. I refuse to be defined by my gift, so let's not define me as a "MUSICIAN"...I am a creative man who chooses music as one of my tools to make a living. Don't get me wrong, "I LOVE WHAT I DO!"...and music occupies a lot of my time, after all it is my...uhh...9-to-5, and that's 9:00pm until 5:00am...ha-ha!...(but) music isn't my life, I live...and I play great music....ya dig? BIO: Saxophonist, from Houston, TX. Studied under legendary Texas Tenor greats Arnett Cobb and Don Wilkerson. While attending the University of North Texas, Shelley earned a spot in the Grammy Nominated One O'clock Lab Band. There he recorded 2 critically acclaimed CD's. Later he joined the Duke Ellington Orchestra & has toured the U.S. & over 30 foreign countries. He has also recorded or performed with Maureen McGovern, Tony Bennett, Nancy Wilson, Joe Williams, Sheryl Crow...+
