Le groupe marseillais Baja Frequencia est composé des deux producteurs : DJ Azuleski et Goodjiu. Créé de la volonté des deux protagonistes à faire un set hybride entre live machine et dj set de bootleg fait maison pour l’une de leur soirée « Cumbia Fusion » et « Global Bass », le duo voit le jour en 2013. Face aux retours positifs du public et de leur entourage, le projet se pérennise et le groupe se met à la production musicale. En 10 ans d’existence et au fil de ses différentes réalisations et collaborations (La Dame Blanche, la MC Blimes Brixton, Skarra Mucci, Chocolate Remix…), le groupe se distingue grâce à ses performances scéniques et à son univers singulier, mélangeant ainsi de multiples influences telles que le dancehall jamaïcain, le juke, ou encore le reggaeton et la cumbia villera, le tout soutenu par des gros kicks techno et des leads acidulés. Ces univers se croisent dans leurs sets endiablés pour créer une trance torride aussi sulfureuse qu’un rhum piment.
