León Benavente nace en 2012 de la unión algunos de los músicos más reputados y veteranos del panorama nacional; Abraham Boba (voz y teclados), Eduardo Baos (bajo y sintetizadores) Luis Rodríguez (guitarra) y César Verdú (batería). Con su primer disco homónimo, León Benavente (Marxophone, 2013), necesitaron muy poco tiempo para colocarse en los carteles de los principales festivales y abarrotar salas de nuestro país, además de cruzar el charco En abril de 2016 salió su segundo disco, 2 (Warner Music), trabajo con el que ‘los leones’ giraron durante un año por todo el país, colgando en gran parte de los conciertos el cartel de “entradas agotadas”, además de tocar en varias ocasiones en Latinoamérica. En septiembre de 2019 llegó Vamos a volvernos locos (Warner Music), fue el segundo disco más vendido del país en la semana de su lanzamiento. Ahora nos presentan ERA, su nuevo álbum, que habla del final de las cosas y los nuevos comienzos.
