Název kanálu byl změněn z Šohaj 560 i z následujícího názvu Šohaj 560 forever na konečný název Šohaj. Důvodem změny je zrušení tohoto tradičního názvu na vlacích v ČR. Druhý název Šohaj 560 forever jsem začal užívat proto, abych zabránil spekulacím a značnému množství dotazů, jestli budu název rušit. Slovo -forever- "navždy" mělo za účel sdělit, že od tohoto názvu nechci upustit. Účel to splnilo a tak ho z názvu odstraňuji. Nyní tedy ponechávám jen název Šohaj, protože pod číslem 560 ho již nenajdete a tak ztrácí význam, tak není důvod ho nadále používat. Název "Šohaj" ponechávám jako památeční, protože ho zvolili sami občané v anketě časopisu Železničář v roce 1975 a používal se zhruba čtyřicet let. Poprvé vyjel Šohaj v novém grafikonu pro rok 1977 - 1978 jako R 604 a R 605.. V grafikonu pro rok 2017 - 2018 byl přejmenován na Slovácký Expres - Rx 892 a Rx 893 a název "Šohaj" tímto z názvů našich vlaků zcela vymizel!
