JAR is aiming to promote the HORSEMAN program to a level of local, state and worldwide recognition and acclaim. The proceeds would feed into other ventures, fulfilling the following missions: To advance the sport of riding, by arranging Amateur and Professional Equestrian Marathon (APEM) events leading to the formation of an Amateur and Professional Equestrian Marathon League (APEML). To establish a fund to assist in Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation -- the sharing of responsibility to maintain a healthy horse population, including the survival of wild horses worldwide. To advance the horse as an avenue for orienting young people, especially the needy and disadvantaged, to a broader way of life beyond urban confines. To formalize the loving interaction between man and horse, by projecting a real image of horses and horsemen, which accentuates natural riding techniques.
