"I had the wish to do this kind of music for a long time", says Vindenes. With his new stuff, he created modern pop music with a slight touch of the golden times of the 70s and 80s. Vindenes has managed to wrap the sounds of the past in a modern electronic guise. With his debut single "Yesterday" Vindenes tells the story of broken love. Right in the first few bars of that vibrant pop tune, Vindenes catches you with his distinctive voice. Shallow melancholy meets confidence for better times. A catchy melody that could be the soundtrack of a sunset of a warm summer day in Vindenes hometown Bergen gives "Yesterday" its encouraging character.
