„Kommt vorbei und spielt uns die Kisten heiß!“ – unter diesem Motto möchten wir, die Retro-Nerds Münsterland demnächst alle spielbegeisterten Erwachsenen/Kinder zum großen Automatenrevival an rund 95 alten Arcade-Automaten und Flippern aus fünf Jahrzehnten einladen. In unserer „ARCADE“ in Vreden entsteht zurzeit ein für ganz NRW in dieser Größe einzigartiges, retro Spieleparadies, mit alten Flipper und Video Automaten, Computer und Spielekonsolen für Fernseher bei denen alles das Mindestalter von 20 Jahren hat. Viele Geräte sind aber noch deutlich älter. Unser Initiator Flipper-Frank hatte im Jahr 2017 die Idee zur Gründung der Interessensgemeinschaft Retro-Nerds Münsterland. Er ist als Kind eines Automatenaufstellers mit Spielautomaten groß geworden, dadurch entstand die Fazination für diese Technik. Diese Leidenschaft teilen alle, der mittlerweile 45 Mitglieder (Stand 02.19), der Retro-Nerds.
