She holds the Crest of Light (光). She first appears in Digimon, episode 21, in the first season called, "Home Away From Home." When Tai is back in the real world, makes it home and trying to figure things out. Kari comes out of their room yawning and Koromon and Tai see her. Kari says, "Hi Tai." Tai comment's back saying, "Hi Kari, you're here? Mom and Dad left you here at home all alone?" Kari then replies, "I'm a big girl. Hi Koromon!" We then see that Kari already has knowledge of the Digimon. We didn't know how she did but, she did. Making it easier to know, she IS the 8th Digidestined. She didn't go to Summer Camp with Tai because she got sick. Kari joins them later when they learn that there is an 8th Digidestined child. Kari is a compassionate and sweet person. When she gets older, she's called to the Digital World again. Kari tends to show that she has a crush on T.K. She also know Davis has a crush on her and sometimes will take advantage of it. Her D.N.A. Digi-Partner is Yolei (Miyako) Inoue (She hold the Crest of Love and Sincerity).
