Hey! I'm Toyin and I got my PhD in Math in 2016 and now I've landed my dream job as a Senior Lecturer at a university. I started The Academic Society because, unlike many students, I really enjoyed my grad school experience. And I want to share everything I learned during those 5 years that helped me achieve my goals and become a #gradboss. What is a #GRADBOSS? A #gradboss is a grad student who has figured out how to balance grad school and real life. They are productive but they also have a social life. They build a supportive community around them and they help others. That's why I created The Academic Society. To help you become your best self in grad school.
