Vincent de Ridder was born in 1997 in Arnemuiden (The Netherlands). From his ninth age till 2015, he took organ lessons with Jos Vogel. In 2015, he started at the Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam. First, he got organ lessons by Aart Bergwerff. Nowadays, his teachers are Ben van Oosten and Bas de Vroome for organ literature and Hayo Boerema and Sietze de Vries for improvisation. Every year, he gives several organ recitals. In 2019, he won the first prize on the SGO organ competition with his rendition of the Toccata in F (BWV 540) of Johann Sebastian Bach on the Schnitger organ in the Martinikerk in Groningen. He is church organist in Arnemuiden (Hervormde Kerk) and Dirksland (Hervormde Kerk) and he gives also organ lessons. www.vincentderidder.nl
