Auteur compositeur interprète marocain. À l’âge de 15 ans, il fonde le groupe «MAZAGAN» et initie un nouveau genre musical, le «Chaâbi-Groove» : mélange explosif de chants populaires marocains et de son Rock. Le groupe collabore avec RedOne, Outlandish, Khaled, Ganga Vibes et bien d’autres. Après 2 albums à succès et des tournées dans le monde entier, ISSAM décide en 2014 d’entamer une carrière solo, son 1er single «Dounia» tourne en boucle dans toutes les radios marocaines, une nouvelle star est née. ISSAM enchaîne les sorties et les tournées, cumule les millions de vues sur sa chaîne YouTube, écrit et réalise des sons pour d’autres artistes et collabore avec le suédois Maher Zain et l’ivoirien Alpha Blondy. La rencontre avec ce dernier a donné à ISSAM l’envie d’exporter sa culture tout en réalisant un vieux rêve d’enfant; celui d’écrire et de chanter dans la langue de Molière. En 2021 ISSAM KAMAL & MAZAGAN fond leur comeback, le «Chaâbi-Groove» est de retour !
