Hello. I'm David. I live in Texas. I'm kinda old. I have a beard and I know stuff. Thing is, I read user manuals. I used to write them. But that's classified. The manuals, not that I wrote them. That I can talk about. A little, not much. I had to learn how to set up a YouTube channel fast. Wonder Wifey, Kate, decided she wanted a YT channel as an outlet for her canning, preserving and cooking knowledge. She's got a lot of that, so how could I resist? I chose Shotcut. It's free, not so insanely complicated and support was fair to middlin' good, for an open source application. That is, until I went looking for "how-to" videos! I'm gonna be REAL polite here. Most of 'em were CRAP!!! Others, even worse. A few...a very select few...were enough to get me goin.' I slogged through, breaking Shotcut very regularly. (Yeah, it does crash easy! SAVE your files often!) Then I was kinda handed an answer. Wonder Wifey said, "Why don't you make your own tutorial!" And, here I am!
