Foi distinguida em 2014 pela Fundação Amália Rodrigues com o “Prémio Instrumentista”. Aqui, neste canto, pretende-se que todos assistam em primeira fila ao percurso de Marta Pereira da Costa. Bem-vindos! Marta Pereira da Costa is the first and currently the only professional female Fado guitarist worldwide. The Portuguese guitar is very closely associated with Fado, and Marta, not forgetting the roots and tradition, has risked new sounds and sought out to give voice to her instrument through the world of Jazz, World Music and Portuguese Music. Marta was awarded "Instrumentalist Award" in 2014 by the Amália Rodrigues Foundation.
