All of my life I have been pitching in on my parents' organic farm. Helping in the fields between school, work in the city, and tours with my band, it has become a part of who I am. While I consider myself to be far from an expert (that should become very obvious early on in the videos), I am able to walk onto a farm and immediately spot the work that needs to be done and identify the critical path that leads from seeding to harvest. My parents have worked the land since 1973 and are well overdue for a rest. After a few bad seasons in a row and without the resources to maintain key crops and buildings, I recently left my job in the city and became a partner in the family business, with the goal of restoring it to it's full potential and providing a sustainable living for myself, as well as my parents. I have taken to vlogging as a means to keep my mind busy and distract myself from the fact that I have absolutely no idea what I am doing with my life.
