Der Kanal „AL HAYAT TV“ im deutschsprachigen Raum ist eine private Initiative und wurde von orientalischen Christen und Ex-Muslime in Deutschland ins Leben gerufen. Wir stehen jedoch in enger Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Muttersender „Al Hayat Channel“, der seine Islam-Aufklärung in mehreren Sprachen und auf allen Kontinenten über Satelliten ausstrahlt. Das deutsche Team sieht seine Aufgabe hauptsächlich darin, sachliche Aufklärung über den Islam zu schaffen. Im Mittelpunkt unserer Aufklärung stehen Lehre, Ideologie und politisches System des Islams. Muslime, die mit Wort und Tat zu den universalen Menschenrechten und demokratischen Grundsetzten stehen, sind nicht Gegenstand unserer Videobeiträge. Es ist uns bewusst, wie schwierig die Bewältigung dieser Aufgabe sein wird, da in einer Gesellschaft, wo viele Politiker, Kirchenvertreter und Intellektuelle den Menschen eine Relativierung aufzwingen wollen, werden oft kritische Äußerungen am Islam als rassistisch angesehen.
