I was strong-willed and drawn to the "hippie" life as a kid, which ultimately led me to pursuing a healthy lifestyle; lots of music and dancing, vegetarian and raw food, then yoga. I was 16 years old when I tried meditation for the first time and now my life is built around it. My personal, work, and social life converge in and with mindfulness. I'm the founder of Mindfulness Asia and co-founder of Philippine Insight Meditation Community, UCLA-Trained Mindfulness Facilitator, a Community Dharma Leadership Program graduate of Spirit Rock Meditation Center, and the Membership Coordinator of International Mindfulness Teachers Association. I develop and facilitate mindfulness programs for companies, schools, and events; locally and internationally. I volunteer to teach incarcerated women serving life imprisonment and also support sexually abused women and children in the Philippines. Most of all, I'm a mother. My biggest life purpose.
