Emel Yıldırım Kimdir? Yaptığı işler kadar özel hayatıyla da gündemden düşmeyen eski model ve şimdilerde modacı olan Emel Yıldırım, 1974 yılında, İstanbul’da dünyaya geldi. Meslek Lisesi Hazır Giyim Bölümü mezunu olan Yıldırım, 1993 yılında, düzenlenen güzellik yarışmasına katılmış ve ikinci olmuştur. Bu yarışmanın ardından hayatı değişen Yıldırım’ın yapmış olduğu tasarımların yoğun ilgi görmesi üzerine kariyerine modacı olarak devam etmiştir. 13 Eylül 2006 tarihinde, Çırağan Sarayı’nda ilk Haute Couture defilesi ile moda dünyasına adım atan Yıldırım, mesleğini halen başarıyla icra etmektedir. 2000 yılında bir giyim mağazası açan Yıldırım, Açtığı mağazasına kendi adını verdi. Çırağan Sarayı’ndaki ilk Haute Couture defilesinin ardından, “Ay çarpması” Adını verdiği defilesi sayesinde yoğun ilgile karşılaşan ve tanınan Emel Yıldırım, Nişantaşı’nda müşterilerinin de isteği üzerine ikinci mağazasını da açtı.
