DETAILS ABOUT Seminary of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem
افتُتح المعهد الإكليريكي في القدس في كانون الأول عام 1852م على يد البطريرك المؤسس يوسف فاليرغا لتنشئة الكهنة الأبرشيين في خدمة رعايا البطريركية كافة. ومن ثم انتقل الطلاب للسكن في بيت جالا يوم 7 أيلول عام 1857م. ثم انتقل المعهد مجدّدًا بسبب الظروف السياسية إلى القدس، إلى أن استقرّ نهائيًّا في بيت جالا في 7 تموز عام 1936م. كانت إدارة المعهد في البداية بيد كهنة البطريركية أنفسهم. ثم انتقلت إلى الآباء البندكتان الألمان في تشرين الأول عام 1921م، وبعد ذلك إلى آباء القلب الأقدس (بيترام) في تشرين الأول عام 1932م. ومنذ تموزعام 1980م، عاد الأكليروس الأبرشي إلى إدارة المعهد وما زال. قامت راهبات القديس شارل بوروميوس بخدمة المعهد من عام 1921م - 1929م، ثم أتت راهبات القديسة دوروثيا للقلبين الأقدسين للقيام بنفس الخدمة لعام 2009م ثمَّ راهبات أم الرحمة لعام 2013م واليوم تقوم راهبات الكلمة المتجسد بخدمة المعهد.
