En el segundo cuatrimestre del curso 2019/2020 la UNED desarrolla en un tiempo récord una aplicación (AvEx) para la realización de exámenes tanto de test como de desarrollo o mixtos, sin necesidad de instalación de software, compatible con todos los sistemas operativos, accesible desde cualquier navegador web actualizado y ejecutable desde todo tipo de dispositivos electrónicos conectados a la red (teléfono inteligente, ordenador, tableta). Desde el primer momento AvEx demostró ser una herramienta muy rentable en lo económico, pero absolutamente ineficaz para evaluar el conocimiento de los alumnos puesto que AvEx permite realizar todo tipo de trampas. Además de garantizar evaluaciones baratas, AvEx resultó ser un foco de atracción para nuevos alumnos. Los exámenes grupales solo son una de las muchas formar de realizar un examen fraudulento, y una prueba objetiva del menosprecio de la UNED por una enseñanza de calidad.
