Sin dall'uscita del loro primo album “'O vicolo' e l'alleria”, La Maschera ha preso il suo posto nella scena musicale napoletana come una delle band indipendenti più interessanti. Nell'estate del 2015 arriva l'incontro con Laye Ba da cui sono nati due brani. Dopo il tour senegalese è stato pubblicato il loro secondo album, "ParcoSofia". Nell'autunno 2018 hanno portato la loro musica all'estero: Portogallo, Spagna (Womex), Francia, Canada. Nel Novembre 2018 si sono aggiudicati il Premio Andrea Parodi, riconoscimento italiano per la World Music. Nel 2019 dopo il tour nazionale partono per la Corea del Sud per i festival "Seoul Music Week" e "Suseong World Music". Tra le altre date del loro tour, festival nazionali e internazionali quali lo Szieget, l’Home Festival, il Folkest e il Giffoni Music Concept. Pubblicano tra il 2019 e il 2020 due nuovi singoli: “‘A cosa justa” e “Se mai fossi” che, insieme a "Sotto chi tene core" in uscirta a Marzo 2022, anticipano il nuovo disco omonimo.
