VTR Production girişimci ruhu, bitmez enerjisi ve yenilikçi fikirleriyle başarılı yapımlara imza atan Galip Gültekin ile 1982 yılında yapımcılık hayatına başladı. 1990 yılında çocuğa küçük yaşta verilen eğitimin önemini anlatan 65 bölüm Hata Kimde? dizisini ve Keloğlan Sultan Kız ve Keloğlan Karabaş drama filmlerini yaptı. İlk Türk işçilerinin Almanya’ya gitmesiyle başlayan 50 yıllık göç sürecini anlatan 2011 yapımı Göç Gerçeği belgeseli 63. Frankfurt Film Festivali’nde açılış filmi olarak gösterildi. Türkiye ve Çin arasında 5000 yıllık geçmişe ve bugüne yansıyan ilişkilerin, günümüz izdüşümlerini anlatan 2013 yapımı İzin Sırrı belgeseli Çin'in resmi kanalı CCTV tarafından maddi olarak desteklenen ilk yabancı ortak yapım olması nedeniyle prestij eser niteliğini taşır. 2013 yılında Digiturk'e Beni Deli Etme adlı 65 bölümlük komedi sitcom dizisini yaptı. Sinema filmleri arasında Seni Seviyorum Adamım adlı aşk filmi ve Cin Kuyusu adlı korku filmi bulunmaktadır.
