Hikayat Simsim is the Jordanian national Educational Multimedia project co-produced by Jordan Pioneers Multimedia Co and the international non-for-profit Sesame Workshop. The Hikayat Simsim educational initiative is designed through a methodology of "research, content and production" to support educational goals for local children in early childhood by providing an entertaining program full of educational content and value for pre-school children ages 4 to 7 first timers, parents and Jordanian families. The current project components consist of the TV series, nationwide classroom distribution of educational kits and materials, Live Muppet theater performances and training workshops for teachers, parents and care givers. These multi-media educational initiatives engage Jordanian children and their parents on the importance of education through a fun, innovative and entertaining approach Hikayat Simsim is made possible through the generous support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and is supported by the Bank of Jordan. حكايات سمسم مبادرة أردنيــة وطنيــة متعــددة الوسائط الإعلامية، و إنتاج مشـترك بين "مؤسســـة الرائدون الأردنيون لـلوسائط الإعلامية المتعددة" و"ورشة سمسم" غير الربحية في نيويـورك تم تصميم مبادرة حكايات سمسم التعليمية من خلال منهجية "المحتوى، والبحث، والإنتاج" لدعـم الأهداف التعليمية للأطفال فـي مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة من خلال توفير برنامج ترفيهي ملئ بالمحتوى التعليمي والقيم الهامة لمرحلة ما قبل المدرسة للأطفال ما بين 4- 7 سنوات وأولياء الأمور والمعلمـــين. وتتضمن مكونات المشروع الحالي من المسلسل التلفزيوني، توزيع المواد التعليمية على الصفوف المدرسية في كافة أرجاء المملكة، وتقديم العروض الحية لمسرح الدمى، وعقد ورش العمل التدريبية للمعلمين والأهالي ومانحي الرعاية. وتهدف هذه المبادرة التعليمية المستندة إلى الوسائط الإعلامية المتعددة إلى إشراك الأطفال الأردنييـن، وأهاليهم في الوعي بأهمية التعليم من خلال منهجية مبتكرة تعتمد المتعة والترفيه والتسلية حكايات سمسم مبادرة تعليمية ممولة من خلال الدعم السخي للوكاله الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية (USAID)،ودعم خاص من بنك الأردن (read less) Hikayat Simsim is the Jordanian national Educational Multimedia project co-produced by Jordan Pioneers Multimedia Co and the international non-for-profit Sesame Workshop.
