תיעוד מצולם של המשפט החשוב . מהלך המשפט שהחל ב - 11 באפריל 1961 והסתיים רשמית ב 14 באוגוסט 1961 צולם במצלמות וידאו טייפ "2 (שני אינטש) לפי החלטת מנהלת משפט אייכמן ע"י חברה אמריקאית בשם: Capital Cities . החברה התחייבה להשאיר בידי מדינת ישראל קטעים חשובים ואף להעתיקם לפורמט מקובל וידוע בימים ההם: פילם 16 מ"מ. חברת Capital Cities לא צלמה את ישיבות פסק הדין וגזר הדין שניתן ב 29 בדצמבר 1961 . החברה חזרה לארצות הברית ולקחה עמה גם את סרטי ה-"2 הגולמיים המתעדים את המשפט. במדינת ישראל נשארו כ- 84 סרטי "2 ערוכים. לימים כאשר המדיה התיישנה פנתה החברה לארגון "בני ברית" בהצעה לקחת את הסרטים הללו ולמצוא משקיע שיעתיקם למדיה עדכנית. כך נשמר חלק מהסרטים הגולמיים שתיעדו את משפט אייכמן. ב - 1980 חלק מהסרטים הועברו לפורמט "3/4 (U-matic ). בשנת 1995 גנזך המדינה וגורמים מעוניינים נוספים יזמו את העתקת סרטי ה- "2 שבגנזך המדינה ובארכיון הסרטים ע"ש שפילברג למדיה יציבה (betacam ). ניתן להגדיר פעולה זו כפעולת הצלה של הרגע האחרון, כי המדיה וידאו טייפ "2 כמעט פסה מן העולם.
