In Oppenweiler schlossen sich 2001 einige Eltern unter Leitung von Pfarrer Florian Lampadius zu einem Chor zusammen, um mit Gospelsongs die Konfirmations-Gottesdienste ihrer Kinder musikalisch zu bereichern. Den Eltern gefiel dies so gut, dass sie auch nach den Konfirmationen weitersingen wollten. Im Lauf der vergangenen Jahre ist der Chor über Orts- und Konfessionsgrenzen hinaus auf ca. 60 Mitglieder angewachsen. Die Leitung hat im März 2012 Jochen Ferber übernommen.
