This is MIDI Otaku, the YouTube channel of anime and J-pop MIDI transcriptions. If you are finding ways to listen to anime or J-pop songs in MIDI, you've come to the right place! But bear in mind, FM synthesis, or frequency modulation synthesis (think Sega Genesis), will be used as MIDI voices. Soundfonts, wavetables, and MIDI modules like the Roland SC-88 will not be used. I am transcribing in a technique called mimi-copy, not the iOS app with the same name. Mimi-copy (耳コピ) is when you listen a song, and then jot down notes on a MIDI editor or DAW as you hear. Extensive music theory skills are also involved in makings of the MIDI of a song by mimi-copy. Download links to the MIDI files will not be open to the public due to copyright. If you really, really do want the MIDI file of a song, just simply write me a private message and I'll give it to you. Just don't upload any of my transcriptions, and you're good to go.
