DEPEDRO es el proyecto musical de Jairo Zavala, iniciado en 2008 con el disco "Depedro" grabado con la banda estadounidense CALEXICO en Tucson Arizona, colaboración que les lleva a grabar los cuatro primeros discos de Depedro y se hace mutua al ser Jairo el guitarrista de Calexico durante mas de 10 años aportando cancionero al repertorio. Desde ese momento hasta hoy el proyecto transfronterizo DEPEDRO ha volcado influencias musicales, estéticas y culturales de Latinoamérica, África, el Mediterráneo o Estados Unidos en una carrera musical que alcanza ya nueve discos largos: “Depedro", "Nubes de Papel" ,"La Increíble Historia de un Hombre Bueno”, "EI Pasajero” ,“Todo va a salir bien”, “Érase una vez”, “Máquina de Piedad” , el directo “Antes de que anochezca” y el nuevo disco “Lugar Perfecto” , varios Eps y singles, el documental "Casamance" sobre su viaje musical a Senegal ,y el documental “Fanantenana” ,aún inédito ,sobre su colaboración musical con la ONG Agua de Coco en Madagascar..
