Odd Future）、足立佳奈など新進気鋭のアーティストをフィーチャリングしたリリース、88risingから全米デビューしたATARASHII GAKKO!の1stシングル「NAINAINAI」、山本彩等数々のアーティストプロデュースも手掛ける、Z世代No.1のプロデューサー／トラックメイカーyonkey（Vo）を中心にSimiSho（Dr）、かとたくみ（Bs）らと結成。 ライブをメインに活動を続け、2019年よりYouTubeにて『MIDNIGHT SESSION』をスタート。同世代アーティストと共に名曲をカバーするこの動画シリーズは、過去の名曲をカッティングエッジなサウンドでアレンジする動画が評判となり、ヒットコンテンツとなっている。 2020年には初シングル「iCON」、空音をフィーチャーした「Be Fin（feat. 空音）」など計4曲のオリジナル楽曲を次々とリリース。同年12月には、渋谷WWWで自主企画ライブ『Magnet＋』を開催。Klang RulerがZ世代のシーンを牽引する存在となりつつあることを強く印象付けるライブとなった。 2021年の夏、『MIDNIGHT SESSION』でも共演したアーティスト／ファッションデザイナーのやすだちひろ（Vo）と、サポートギターとしてバンドに参加していたGyoshi（Gt）が正式加入。 11月、Rin音をフィーチャリングに迎えた「ビビデバビビ」でメジャーデビュー。
