Nate Flaks & Noah Longworth McGuire, the two halves of the pop-adjacent duo, Sleeping Lion, met while living down the hall from each other in Boston. Though they were initially pursuing other career paths, after a chance encounter with Halsey in early 2015, they were encouraged to break into the pop music scene. With Noah living in Rome and Nate living in New York, Sleeping Lion wrote & produced their first few songs together entirely over Skype. They debuted their first EP, ‘Patient Creature’ in 2016 which rapidly spread through social media, playlists, and music blogs. Since their move to Los Angeles in 2017, the duo has worked with countless writers, artists & producers in hundreds of sessions, looking to build and grow with their extensive community of musician friends.
