Entstanden ist DAS BÜNDNIS im Zuge der Nationalratswahlen 2008 auf der Internetplattform facebook. Von dort aus weitet DAS BÜNDNIS seine Aktivitäten seit Anfang 2009 auch in die "reale" Welt aus. Seit 25. Januar 2010 ist DAS BÜNDNIS ein eingetragener Verein. DAS BÜNDNIS - sammelt und veröffentlicht Informationen. - bündelt und vernetzt zivilgesellschaftliches Engagement. - hört zu, schaut hin, denkt nach und analysiert. - agiert und reagiert. - initiiert Projekte und setzt Aktionen um. - mischt sich ein und mobilisiert. - entlarvt Heuchelei und Demagogie. - bekämpft Rechtspopulismus. DAS BÜNDNIS arbeitet an einer Gesellschaft ohne Hass, Verhetzung, Ausgrenzung und Diskriminierung, in der sich Menschen mit Respekt begegnen.
