Artista cubano que se destaca por tener composiciones donde recupera los géneros tradicionales de la música cubana combinados con un lenguaje más contemporáneo, el jazz, argumentos de música clásica, música flamenca y raíces africanas influyentes por varios siglos en la cultura de su país. En su música está el danzón, la rumba, la guaracha, el mambo, el flamenco, entre muchos otros géneros con los que sabe fusionar muy bien, con un sabor muy interesante y un estilo lleno de energía y espiritualidad. En 2015 fue finalista en dos categorías en el concurso de composición Mauricio Ravel en Bérgamo, Italia. En 2020 participó en el VII Festival Internacional de Jazz Latino que se realizó en Moscú y recientemente ha sido galardonado en la edicion XVII del Cinema Jazz Awards 2023. En los últimos tiempos, se mantiene trabajando con Sandor's Trio, otros proyectos y también activamente componiendo música para espectáculos contemporáneos y teatrales.
