In February 2021, Blue passed away at home following a shock diagnosis of an aggressive illness. He was surrounded by his family, knowing he was loved and would be sorely missed. Blue was an adoring husband, amazing Dad, incredible Grandad, loved father-in law, and a cherished brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend and mentor to many. A mighty totara has fallen, and his loss will leave an immense hole. Blue was a legendary outdoorsman with a lifelong love of animals and hunting, and he took great enjoyment in sharing his knowledge, skills and passion for the outdoors with the world. It is our hope that his stories will bring a smile to your face, and pass on the simple joys of spending time in nature and watching the world around you. Rest in Peace, Blue.
