Yonah Flutes is the brand of Native American style flutes designed and hand created by me, Aaron. You can see and hear some of my creations on my first channel THSurvivalGear where I have put many songs that I have made with the flutes I have created. I am creating this channel in order to share my love for the Native American flute, Native culture & language, and share the flutes that I create. I chose the name Yonah Flutes because the word Yonah is Cherokee for "bear". The bear is significant to the Cherokee people as it symbolizes introspection. The bear symbolizes my struggle with Posttraumatic Stress disorder related to my combat service in Iraq as a US Marine... I have been on a journey for the last few years since returning from Iraq in 2005 and came to the Native American flute as a means of finding peace and healing.
