Schaeffer's Train fue un proyecto que consistía en poner a prueba la capacidad de progreso musical a la que podían llegar varios alumnos de la escuela donde Luis Padrón, profesor de música, y creador de este proyecto trabajaba. Gyatso, nombre artístico por el que se conoce a Luis Padrón, consiguió que la banda grabara su primera maqueta en 6 meses, y en los posteriores 6 meses se realizaron más de 60 conciertos con temas propios y versiones. Schaeffer's Train llego a ganar varios premios y consiguió en un plazo record de 6 meses, llegar a ser una banda de reconocimiento en el panorama internacional, llegando a ser varias veces semifinalista en Reino Unido, ganando premios de interpretación en festivales como los organizados por el ayuntamiento de Firgas, o incluso premios internacionales con obras compuestas por el creador de la banda.
