Policías y Ladrones inició con Alonzo (guitarra y voz), Ivan (bajo), y Luis (batería), quienes se conocieron en la escuela primaria en Tijuana. Con esta alineación grabaron un EP influenciados por el garage. Al conocer a Andrés (guitarra y teclados) en un concierto local, lo invitaron a la banda. Dirigiendo el sonido hacia el indie (influenciados por la generación de bandas conocidas como C86 y Pixies), sacaron su primer LP, ‘Flores’. En 2019 publicaron varios sencillos (“Nada Te Va a Matar”, “Todo Bien”) apuntando más hacia el shoegaze y el bedroom pop. En 2020 firman con Arts & Crafts México para lo que será su segundo álbum de estudio: ‘Nubes’.
