Никто не знает, сколько неизвестных миров скрыто в недрах Земли. Один из таких – страна Слагтерра. Населена она слагами, которые не пускают в свою страну чужаков. Лишь избранным открыт туда вход. И лишь избранным доверено оберегать её жителей от захватчиков. Одним из таких стражей был в свое время отец главного героя сериала Элая Шейна. В неравной схватке погиб славный защитник подземной страны. Боролся он против ужасного доктора Блэка, который стремился захватить лакомый кусочек и устроить здесь свои порядки. Теперь на место отца должен заступить его сын Элай. Но как бороться со злом молодому воину, который еще и воином-то хорошим не является? Помочь ему могут местные жители – слаги. Один из соратников отца – слаг Берпи – берется научить своего нового хозяина всем премудростям непростого боя с темными силами. В ходе обучения у юноши появляются другие друзья-воины. Теперь, все вместе, они точно смогут противостоять всем темным силам и защитить славную Слагтерру.
