مسلسل باب العامود هو دراما فلسطينية تحكي القدس العتيقة، المسلسل يتحدث عن الحياة الاجتماعية الفلسطينية في البلدة القديمة في القدس في ظل الاحتلال، وهذا العمل الدرامي الأول من نوعه والذي يصور في أزقة وحواري وبيوت القدس العتيقة، يقدم المسلسل الوجوه الفلسطينية المقدسية بإطار اجتماعي ساخر وهادف يظهر معالم البلدة القديمة ويركز على الحياة من داخل البيوت راصدا المعاناة المقدسية دون شعارات زائفه حيث نرى العلاقة المقدسية بين الجيران والباعة والأسواق ويثري هذا العمل الحوار السلس من خلال اللهجة المحكية في مدينة القدس ، ويتكون المسلسل من ثلاثين حلقة ، وبطله (حسن) الفنان اسماعيل الدباغ ، الذي يمثل دور فني تصليح غسالات متزوج من (حسنيه ) مايا ابو الحيات ، الخياطة، وهذا المقدسي رجل بسيط يحلم بالتغيير في إطار مسالم ولكن حظه العاثر كحظ المقدسين يبعث به إلى المتاعب . وفي كل حلقة يحاول أن يخرج نفسه من هذه الورطة، كما ويسلط الضوء على مشاكله بأسلوب ساخر وهادف .
