Pioneiro da gaita de fole irlandesa no Brasil, também conhecida por Uilleann Pipes (pronuncia-se: ílan páipis). Navar foi o primeiro Brasileiro a estudar de forma regular a música tradicional na Irlanda e um dos primeiros a desenvolver e divulgar o gênero musical em solo tupiniquim, especialmente no Rio de Janeiro onde reside. Navar foi responsável por escalar e produzir um seleto grupo de músicos Brasileiros especializados na música tradicional Irlandesa para se apresentar no Rock In Rio de 2013 na Rock Street. Ao seu lado a banda Sensessional apresentou temas típicos da Irlanda em todos os dias do evento obtendo enorme sucesso de público e crítica. Alex participa ainda como produtor e/ou músico em diversos eventos, solenidades e cerimônias de casamento pelo Brasil.
