The journey of living a simpler life while growing, foraging, raising and preserving our food. Hey, I'm Anny. After having my 3rd child, I grew tired of the fast life and decided it would be best for my family that I stopped working and move out to the country so we could live a simpler life. Let's be honest, a family of 5 can get expensive, so we became frugal, educated consumers and experts in upcycling. After months of research, I jumped right in and I started to live a from scracth life. I started to read labels and be more careful of what we eat but then we quickly came to the conclusion, for us to eat healthier and mostly chemicals free, it would mean to grow, forage and raise most of our food. Obviously with that, I had to learn to preserve all of that food. I will post videos weekly about the journey.
