"Wolne sądy" powstały z potrzeby serca i obywatelskiego obowiązku grupy prawników. Potrafimy wyobrazić sobie jakie skutki będzie miało upolitycznienie niezależnych sądów. Spędzamy w sądach wiele godzin, walczymy o prawa uczestników postępowań sądowych, bo to nasza praca, misja i obowiązek. Widzieliśmy różne przypadki, od prostych spraw do tych precedensowych. Ale przecież nikt niezwiązany zawodowo z prawem, nie zastanawia się na co dzień nad tym, co by było gdybyśmy z jakiegoś powodu musieli przed sądem stanąć. Dziś musimy myśleć właśnie tak: co się stanie, jeśli w Polsce zlikwidowane zostaną wolne sądy i znikną niezawiśli sędziowie? Żeby to pokazać w przystępny i zrozumiały sposób nagrywamy krótkie filmy, opowiadamy fikcyjne historie - na razie fikcyjne. Nasza inicjatywa jest oddolna, nie wiążemy jej z żadną opcją polityczną. Nazwaliśmy stronę "Wolne sądy", bo to hasło powinno być na ustach każdego, komu nie są obojętne wartości takie jak wolność, równość i demokracja.
