We Are Duval was created by Phylisha Thompson (Photographer) and Carlos Smith II (Videographer) In April 2016. We decided to invite some of the cities hottest artists to our project. As the excepted the offer we noticed that we all had the same vision in mind and that was to create noise! We wanted to make a change in our music community and bring unity instead of division. There are two teams’ two different beats Shout out to Hamsqaud and Moe Beats for also joining the project. We really hope that we are able to change the views of the city and help stopping the violence. We are all affected by what is going on in the world in some way.
