Üniversiteden mezun olduğu gün, karşısına babasının görev arkadaşı olduğunu söyleyen Orhan çıkmış ve Fatih'e hiç bilmediği aile tarihiyle ilgili gerçekleri açıklamıştır; Fatih'in babası Osmanlı soyundan gelen bir 'Akıncı Beyi'dir ve bir suikast girişimi sonucunda şehit edilmiştir. Yüzyıllardır süre gelen bu kutsal görevi artık Fatih sürdürecektir. Fatih, yıllar içinde Orhan'ın yardımıyla eğitilir ve ülkesine karşı tehdit oluşturan her türlü suç örgütüne karşı savaş açar. Gündüzleri sıra dışı bir eğitim anlayışıyla tarih öğretmenliği yaparken, geceleri taktığı maskeyle gerçek kimliğini gizleyerek Akıncı görevini üstlenir. Yaptığı operasyonlarla, günden güne bir halk kahramanına dönüşür.
