Você gosta de ciência e tecnologia? O objetivo do Canal Irradiação é desmistificar a impressão negativa que muitos tem sobre a energia nuclear, com temas importantes dentro do setor e suas aplicações. Iniciado em maio de 2020 durante a pandemia, o canal é criado por Andrey Costa (Engenharia Nuclear, UFRJ) e contou com Filipe Costa (Licenciatura em Artes, UFRJ) atuando na edição dos vídeos, na gestão do YouTube e na direção de arte até maio de 2023. O projeto ganha sua primeira identidade visual com Izabela Crescembine (FAU-UFRJ) além da contribuição de estudantes do curso de Engenharia Nuclear da Escola Politécnica da UFRJ, como Diego Nuzza, Daiana da Silveira, Gabrielly Carvalho, Mateus Longen, João Pinto, Juliana Salgado, Matheus Avell, Raquel Cavalcanti e diversos outros integrantes que atuaram no desenvolvimento de roteiros e pesquisas, com a orientação e supervisão da professora Andressa Nicolau — responsável pela atividade de extensão "Desmistificando a Energia Nuclear."
