Ο Σταμάτης Καπίρης γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα στις 5 Αυγούστου του 2005 . Είναι γιος του μουσικοσυνθέτη Πάνου Καπίρη και της Αγγελικής Παπαδοπούλου. Γεννημένος μέσα σε μία οικογένεια που πρωταρχικό ρόλο είχε η μουσική και η δημιουργία τραγουδιών από την ηλικία των τριών χρόνων έδειξε έφεση στα μουσικά όργανα και ιδιαίτερα στην κιθάρα . Παράλληλα άρχισε να τραγουδάει γνωστά τραγούδια και να συνθέτει δικές του μελωδίες. Το τραγούδι είναι γι’αυτόν ένας τρόπος ζωής έκφρασης και εκτόνωσης. Σε καθημερινή βάση παίζει και τραγουδάει παράλληλα . Σε ηλικία 10 χρόνων γράφτηκε στο ωδείο και παρακολουθεί μαθήματα κλασικής κιθάρας έως και σήμερα . Έχει διάφορα μουσικά ακούσματα ακούει ξένη και ελληνική λαϊκή και παραδοσιακή μουσική. Αγαπημένος του συνθέτης είναι ο Αντώνης Βαρδής και τραγουδιστής ο Στέλιος Καζαντζίδης καθώς και άλλοι τραγουδιστές της νέας γενιάς. Σε ηλικία εννιά χρονών τραγούδησε στην εκπομπή της Ρούλας Κορομηλά στο κανάλι Έψιλον μαζί με τον καταξιωμένο Γιάννη Πλούταρχο.
