Nacida en Barcelona, SARA PI se crió en el seno de una familia vinculada a la música durante varias generaciones y admiradora de artistas como D'Angelo, Erykah Badu o Jill Scott, SARA creció expuesta a las influencias musicales más dispares. SARA PI comienza su andadura musical junto al productor brasileño Erico Moreira en 2008, con composiciones propias que fusionan el R&B y el soul con la riqueza de las armonías y ritmos de Brasil. De ellos nace un proyecto único y original en el que confluyen las amalgamas de los ritmos brasileños con el más puro soul actual. En octubre de 2013, lanzan su primer álbum, "Wake Up" con Sony, un trabajo cálido y lleno de sentimiento, cantado casi todo en inglés, en el que se mezclan estilos como el r&b, nu-soul, jazz y mpb.
