Luna Manzanares mezcla en su repertorio el jazz, el feeling, el soul, el blues, el rock, la trova, la salsa, el reggae y la bossa nova, entre otros géneros musicales. Comenzó a ganar popularidad en 2011, al interpretar el tema principal de la telenovela cubana Bajo el mismo Sol, y dos años después el de Tierras de Fuego. Recibió la Orden de las Artes y las Letras de Francia, en el grado de Caballero, distinción honorífica concedida por el Ministerio de Cultura de ese país, convirtiéndose así en la latinoamericana más joven en obtener dicha distinción.Ganó el Premio Cubadisco 2017, en la categoría de Espectáculo Musical en Vivo y ese mismo año fue condecorada con la Distinción por la Cultura Nacional. En 2017 firmó contrato por un periodo de 5 años como artista Exclusiva de Egrem, único en su tipo. Es conocida también como actriz de teatro musical por "Carmen la Cubana" y "Tina", el musical, seleccionada por la multinacional de musicales Stage Entertainment para el papel de Tina Turner.
