We at the Hillbilly Half Acre Homestead would like to take you, the viewer, along as we embark on some backyard homesteading. You can share in our triumphs and tragedies as we embark in raising Coturnix Quail, Pigeons, poultry, waterfowl, and rabbits. Starting with 2015, we have added honey bees to the homestead. We will also be attempting to grow our own fruits and vegetables using multiple gardening techniques. It is doubtful that we will ever manage to become a self sustaining homestead. However, we have set a goal to learn to live with as little dependence on the supermarket as possible. We don't have a set schedule as of now for when we will upload new videos so be sure to subscribe to be notified when new videos are available. We only have just under a half acre of land to do all of this so much of the challenge will be to utilize that land as efficiently, as possible, but we intend to have a ball as we learn how it's done!
