Podknast - das Internet kennt keine Gitter "Podknast" setzt sich aus den Wörtern "Podcast" und "Knast" zusammen. Es handelt sich also um kurze Videos, die über den "Knast" berichten. Die Idee ist, durch Videobilder noch mehr Authentizität zu vermitteln. Die Podcasts sollen Einblicke in den Alltag der am Projekt beteiligten Justizvollzugsanstalten liefern. Das Projekt verfolgt verschiedene Ziele für unterschiedliche Zielgruppen. Primär möchten die beteiligten JVA´en mit dem Projekt die Strafgefangenen dazu bewegen, sich mit sich selbst, ihrer Geschichte aber auch mit ihrem kriminellen Verhalten und den Ursachen hierfür auseinander zu setzen. Sekundäres Ziel ist, durch mehr Transparenz und Information potentiell gefährdete Jugendliche über den Jugendstrafvollzug und die Konsequenzen für sie selbst im Falle einer Inhaftierung aufzuklären.
